Book with Amy here (coming soon).

Amy has over 25 years of experience supporting young people in the educational setting. Her experience in the classroom has given her a deep understanding of how neurodiversity, anxiety/depression, stress, family conflict, self-concept, and trauma can disrupt a learner’s ability to engage healthily with self, peers, family, and academics.

Amy uses warmth and humour to create a safe and welcoming environment where youth are encouraged to recognize their strengths and problem-solve their challenges. By understanding a client’s passions and motivations, Amy integrates art, play, nature, and talk into each session to deepen their self-exploration and compassion. She enjoys collaborating with parents of younger clients (6-10) so that strategies can be practiced at home.

Amy is based in Sidney and offers in-person counselling to young people (ages 6-25) and parents. She holds a Master’s in Counselling and will work under supervision until her RCC registration arrives this summer.
